Paul Schulze and Sir Laurence Whistler design 1978. For the serious collector, a very rare highly detailed stipple point hand engraved Steuben art glass sculpture. Something special to give as a permanent reminder of your love, for the special Holiday, Anniversary, Birthday or the collector. A fire polished elongated oval crystal shape is cut with a viewing window and hand engraved with details of trailing mistletoe, apples, lighted candles and boughs.

The oval is connected to it's base by a sterling silver ring. Stipple point engraving is a technique similar to impressionist painting. It was a style employed by Sir Laurence Whistler in a number of works he created for Steuben. If you "google" Sir Laurence Whistler, you can find information and videos about his work in many of England's Cathedrals.

The Kissing Bough is signed on the base bottom edge. This very rare find is new in vintage red leather box.

Hand engraved works were Steuben's most expensive pieces. This large and graceful Steuben design measures approx. 10" tall by 3.5" wide by 3.5 deep with the clarity and refraction of light into it's rainbow spectrum that authentic original Steuben formula glass was famous for.
