Icicle Christmas Ornaments Hand Blown Glass Crystal. Hand blown glass icicle Christmas ornaments will shimmer with crystal brilliance on your tree. Ornaments are by artist Prochaska, Disneyland glass blower for 10 years. I originally designed these icicles more than 25 years ago to satisfy my wife's desire to decorate a 13 foot tall live Christmas tree entirely with hand blown crystal. Weight being of primary concern, I chose to make the icicles of lightweight borosilicate crystal which has virtually the same reflective qualities of uncut full lead crystal. The lighter weight material allowed the tree to be decorated with hundreds of these sparkling decorations creating a truly beautiful spectacle.

As in real life, the icicles come in assorted lengths ranging from 5 inches to 9 inches. To make hanging easier, a symbolic Sheppard's staff loop graces the top end of each icicle allowing you to use your favorite style of hangers, whether they are easy to use wire hangers, monofilament nylon or bright red ribbons. To insure years of enjoyment, a special Storage Tube is included with your order. These truly unique one-of-a-kind ornaments are ideal for gift giving to friends, family members, and Christmas ornament collectors. Christmas tree ornaments are one of my specialties and during the Reagan administration I was asked to create an assortment of one-of-a-kind ornaments that represented the state of California at the White House.
