Very Rare 1986 Baccarat Noel Ornament, LARGE SNOWFLAKE. Mint In Box, Has original box, pouch and sleeve. I've seen these made for 1986 with 1983,1984 and 1985 Baccarat Blanks but never with the Large snowflake. Only for the Baccarat person who wants to complete their collection of Noel ornaments. I don't know how many of these were made but apparently Baccarat was going to quit making these after 1985 because of poor sales.

However they had commitments to a couple of large department stores to supply them with the 1986 ornament. So instead of making a new design for 1986 they used prior year noel blanks for this ornament. This ornament has the Baccarat acid etched logo at the top of the ornament just like the 1984 ornament, however the year and date are moved to accommodate the large snowflake that is in the center of this ornament.
